The imGoats Jhadol-Kanthariya Innovation Platform held its second meeting on 14 September 2011 at Ankur Hall at Jhadol. As a follow-up to the first innovation platform meeting held the previous month, the participants identified two specific issues to tackle in the next couple of months.
There was a notable improvement in the participation of women, with seven women joining in the second meeting in contrast to the first meeting held the previous month where only one woman was present.
In the next two months, the Jhadol-Kanthariya innovation platform will focus on the sale of animals during the October Navrata Festival and animal health care activities such as deworming and vaccination. These were identified as the most important issues affecting goat value chains, based on current needs.
